It’s the time of the year when we celebrate our independence and the birth of our nation with bbq, loads of family time, parades, parties and, of course, fireworks. The 4th of July won’t be complete without fireworks! If you’re in Minnesota, where do you plan to celebrate your 4th of July in 2016? Don’t have any plans yet? Here’s a list that might help you:
If didn’t already know, the Excelsior – Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce hosts the Annual Minnetonka Lake 4th of July Celebration. It is an event open to the public. This celebration has been done since 1988 so for most, it is considered a family tradition to watch the fireworks at Lake Minnetonka.
It’s not just the fireworks that people go there for. There will be a whole day of activities starting early in the morning until dark. This year, there will be the 2016 Firecrackers Run, a kid’s parade, a petting zoo and so much more.
