5 Chores You’re Better Off Outsourcing

Planning out what you need to do during the day, week, or month can be a good step to becoming productive. There are plenty of tasks that you can do yourself to keep your home running in tip-top shape. But, there are also tasks that could be outsourced. There are professionals to handle certain tasks that can actually save you time, energy and money. This is even more important when you have just started a business or running one from home. Below are five tasks to outsource and give yourself more time for more rewarding things:

1) Dry Cleaning

Why do you need to outsource this when there are plenty of DIY dry cleaning kits in the market? Most view dry cleaning at home, using a kit, as the more practical approach. It could be more affordable, but the outcome may not be as good as having a pro take care of it.

There are plenty of companies that also have extra services like picking up and dropping off dry cleaning. This will save you a lot of time.

2) Removing Snow

Removing snow from your drive way is not rocket science. It will require a bit of brawn to get the task done though. If you’re not in great shape, this task can potentially do you harm than good. If you’re in good enough shape, it’s still not a good idea as it may take you a long time to finish.

The best choice is to let a professional remove snow for you. It’ll be quicker and you can save your energy for some quality time with family or tasks that need attention in your business.

3) Yard Work

Yard work includes tasks like cleaning gutters, power-washing the house, mowing the lawn, pruning, and applying pesticide to plants and grass. If you do not have the patience to do this, why not assign this task to a professional? Outsourcing your landscaping and yard work will make sure that your grass is greener without you having to do time-consuming, menial work. Besides, applying pesticide is a potential health hazard if you don’t know what you’re doing.

4) Grocery Delivery

Perusing through grocery aisles can be a fun activity but, admit it, it’ll take a while before you finish. Also, you’ll most likely buy some other items that are not in your grocery list if they catch your interest. A time and money-saving choice would be to shop for your groceries online and then have them delivered.

The experience might be different than going to a physical store, but you’ll save tons of time. You’ll also be a saving a buck or two since you’ll most likely stick to your grocery list and you can even find some coupons/promo codes without looking too hard.

5) Cleaning Your House

Last, but not the least, is house cleaning. Think about how much time you have left after work or during the weekends. Now, think about having to clean the house during those free times. Isn’t it better to just hire somebody to come in and clean once a week? You’ll also have the advantage of talking to the person you hire about other chores that need doing aside from the usual, dusting, mopping and arranging. Doing this will give you comfort in knowing that you don’t have to worry about cleaning the house anymore even after a busy week of work.
